At Sailing-Store.com, we are committed to offering quality products that enhance your sailing experience.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer returns on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition you received it.
- It must be in the original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.
Important:
Opened or used items, including consumable products such as sunscreen or skin care, cannot be returned for reasons of health, safety, and product integrity.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return or refund, including:
- Opened or used consumable goods (e.g., sunscreen, skin care products)
- Downloadable software products
- Gift cards
- Clearance or final sale items
- Customized or made-to-order products
Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Partial refunds may be considered in cases where:
- An item is returned damaged, missing parts, or not in original condition due to reasons not caused by Sailing-Store.com.
- An item is returned after the 30-day window (if approved by management).
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:
- We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Note:
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item).
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement.
- Check your credit card or bank for pending refunds — it may take some time for refunds to officially post with your bank.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange a defective item for the same product, please email us at [andrew@sailing-store.com]
Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you:
- You’ll receive a gift credit once the return is processed.
- If the gift was shipped to the purchaser first, refunds will be issued to the original purchaser.
